Meet your Journey Guides

Omar

Shaman, Cosmic Mixologist, Founder of The Quantum Soul, Quantum Soul Journey & Certified Kambo Practitioners International

Omar’s journey with plant medicine began in 1993 when he spent time in the Yucatan and met Mayan guides. Taking him into their culture, they taught him some of the Mayan language, the legends and folklore.

He arrived in the Amazon for the first time in 2004 and in 2011 he moved there, spending 8 years studying with authentic traditional Shamans, working with Sacred Medicines, building a successful Healing Center deep in the Amazon Jungle, and learning the ancient ways of plant medicine. Omar has facilitated thousands of Ayahuasca ceremonies, has certified over 80 Kambo practitioners and done many Master Plant Dietas himself as part of his own personal healing journey. He learned Kambo from the authentic Matses and has participated in many Huachuma (San Pedro) ceremonies.

As of today he is one of the only 9 shamans initiated worldwide to serve Tepezcohuite traditionally. He also offers a curriculum to teach students how to serve this medicine as well.

As a psychotherapist and ecopsychologist, Dr. Kurt Youngberg, embodies the ethos of holistic health by attuning to the fact that our well-being is based on our relationship to ourselves, others and our environments. His philosophy of care aims to help re-discover the keys to your healing and growth by way of self-realization, transcendence and connectedness.

He is the founder and director of Apraxis Center, a therapeutic practice that provides the Atlanta Georgia communities with traditional and non-traditional modalities of therapy. His development and application of an “eco-integrative” model of care places emphasis on the ecology of our psychology- the relationships between the mind, body, spirit and its environment. The eco-integrative approach uses depth psychology (Jungian based), somatic therapies, psychoanalytic psychotherapy and adventure/nature based therapy to more fully access the breadth and depth of the human experience.

Additionally, Dr. Kurt is a certified psychedelic assisted psychotherapist, acting as a guide, conduit and post-integrative specialist to those that are seeking alternative tools and mediums to healing. Psychedelics, like the adventure therapy excursions he leads across the world, are opportunities of embracing the inner archetype of the Hero, and it is the activation of this Hero that becomes the catalyst for profound transformation.
