Simple Daily Gratitude Exercises to Transform Your Life

I’m so glad you’re here because today I want to talk about one of the most powerful ways you can instantly improve your life.

By adopting a habit of gratitude, you can train your mind to focus on the positive aspects of your life, even if you’re facing tough times.

You’ve probably heard of people saying you should have an “attitude of gratitude.”  But what does that mean and how does it actually work?

Seeing the good in your life can sometimes feel like a challenge. But that’s only because you’ve created the habit of concentrating on the stress of your life, like bills you have to pay, the million things you didn’t get done, the boss who’s driving you crazy… etc.

But just like any habit, it can be broken and replaced with a healthier one.

Here are some small but powerful steps you can start doing today to strengthen your gratitude muscle.

  • Gratitude Journaling: Take a few minutes each night to write down three things you’re grateful for. They can be big or small things, from a job promotion to a nice walk you enjoyed outside. You can even be grateful just for choosing to start journaling as it’s a great foundation for creating lasting, positive change.
  • Morning Affirmations: Start your day by giving gratitude for the opportunities and blessings that your future holds. Repeat affirmations such as “I am grateful for the abundance in my life” or “I am thankful for the people who love me.” If you don’t know anything about creating affirmations, don’t worry because in my next email, I’ll go over how to set powerful intentions that stick.
  • Random Acts of Kindness: Show appreciation for others by performing random acts of kindness. It could be as simple as buying someone a cup of coffee, offering to help a friend out, or complimenting a stranger.  Not only does it make you feel good, but it has the potential to make others feel good. It’s a win-win!

Start incorporating these simple changes into your life and you’ll notice you stop focusing so much on the things you wish you could change and start appreciating the things that really do make your life great.

Try to commit to it for just 30 days. There is no doubt in my mind that it will change your life forever.
